The windy weather has plagued Lake Erie anglers this week, but the big lake is settling and the perch and walleye are starting to bite again. The yellow perch has been fair now that the lake is settling down with some good catches reported at 48 feet around the Cleveland Crib. Some walleye and steelhead trout are being caught northeast of Ashtabula and northeast of Geneva at 70 to 72 feet. Walleye are being caught around F Can on the Ohio-Ontario border, west of North Bass Island and in open water north of the Niagara Reef complex. Yellow perch are biting around B Can and C Can off Camp Perry, around Green and Rattlesnake islands and along the east side of Kelleys Island at 41 feet. read more
