As the water temperature warms into the mid to high fifties the fish will begin feeding more frequently making them vulnerable to almost any type lure an angler can place in front of them. As a bass tournament angler, I’ve participated in bass tournaments on some of the finest fisheries up and down the east coast as well a lakes and rivers located throughout the southeast, competing in Bass Master Central Division Opens, BFL, Media, Mississippi Team Trails and Anger’s Paradise events. While versatility is the key to fishing success, and I fish all techniques, my speciality is the jig and pig, which I use 80 percent of the time I’m fishing, year round.
