A man and his son were fishing when they were approached by two people who began talking to the man and then pushed his son into the water, police said. Another man fishing on the dock was also pushed into the water and his fishing gear was damaged before the suspects bolted. A vehicle crash put one man in hospital with serious injuries after a dispute at the Mossington pier, where a group of Toronto men in their early 20s were fishing in the pre-dawn hours. Several young men in pickup trucks arrived and began demanding to see the anglers’ fishing licences and shouting racial slurs, according to police.
